cracked TTOP

I have a four inch crack in my top. Can that be repaired or do I have to replace it.

I have not heard of someone "repairing" a cracked glass t top, but there are a few service companies that can replace them for a fee- just get your checking account in order before you inquire. Not good news I know, but it CAN be replaced.

There are glass tops that come up for bid on ebay occasionally, ranging anywhere from $400 to $1000/pair, however you can have yours repaired for around the same amount.

Had the same problem here in Australia!

I know your pain.

We replaced the t top rubbers and didn't back off the adjustment enough. One bump and the old t top cracked.
Doesn't matter though as before she left the States, she was pillaged for parts and has a 78 top on one side and an 82 on the other.

We had Rick from www.sunroofdoctor.com send us over two new tops and frames. He has a rebuild service as well and probably could reglass your top.
The new tops are great and we recommend the service.
