Crank pully wobble

75 Convertible-steel blue / 2000 lt. pewter conv.
The lower crank pully has a slight wobble and I was told by my Chevy Dealer that the pully needed to be replaced and would cost between 5 and 6 hundred. They said that the Corvette must have sat for a long time without being started and the tension on the belts caused a flat spot on the rubber inner part of the pully. Any input?
 
It's mostly labor, they have to remove the steering rack to remove the balancer. If you did the work yourself it would cost about half that. If you are going to all that trouble, do a cam and valvetrain swap while you are there for an additional $1000.
