Curious about 2013 427 Collector Edition 1SC values

I'm very interested in buying a 2013 Collector Edition 1SC Convertible. There seems to be a lot of them for sale (55) for some reason. Is it just "the newness has worn off"? Most of them are low mileage 4K to 18K miles. A Corvette shop close by has told me there is a valve guide problem with the 427 but in doing research it was only one year and NOT 2013. What are some thoughts? TIA

2013 427 Collector Edition

Purchased same in February, 2016.

No issues to date. It is a beast (in a good way)! Prior Corvette was a kitten compared to the 427.

I have no idea if this particular model will a "collector", although it should be!

Well, it appears that a couple of welcomes are in in order. You have found a very friendly and knowledgeable forum.

Yes the LS7 did have some problems early on but, to my knowledge, the 2013's are not included. Congrats and good luck!
