Cylinder Ridge

My 454 has 75K on it and the cylinder walls don't have have a ridge. I set the micrometer to measure the diameter at the center of the cylinder, and it came out of the cylinder without changing the setting. Is that typical for these old 454's?

Its all in how you treat the engine, and the maintanence. Any engine can get a ridge, depending on how its treated.
