So, I've spent a good chunk of the year ripping out the interior of my barn find 1972 454 Convertable. When I bought the car I knew that mice, many many many ice had made there home in this car. I completely removed the interior, absolutely everything that could be removed, scrubbed the floor and walls and completely got everything clean and smelling great. I've now replaced everything in the interior with new (all the soft stuf, carpets etc) or completely scrubbed and sanitized (dash pads etc) original parts.

The interior is georgous. There was only one other spot that I knew I might have trouble with and sure enough it's a doozy. The entire wiper area and both pleniums that drain the wiper area down the inside of the fenders to the frame are completely filled with mouse nest mess. Anyone have any good ideas on how to clean those areas out.

Common problem. There's a drain hole at the bottom of each plenum chamber, just rearward of the body mount at the base of the firewall; bend up the end of a coathanger or a piece of welding rod and use it to pull the crud out, with an occasional shot of water from the top. You'll be AMAZED at what you find.
