Dash Lights

My 92, seems the light behind the speedo is a lot dimmer than the rest of the dash, and it stays that way when you operate the dash dimmer control. Has anyone run into this? And how can I access the lights in the instrument area?

Bob,the Atari dash in my 85 is crap.All gauges work,but no lighting and they are all badly sunburnt.

I'm gonna have some AutoMeter Speedo & tach put on the steer column.Won't look too good,but reliable & works.
