Went to turn on some heat and.. no heat... in fact no fan... All the parts are there but nothing happening..

Looking for some trouble shooting help... where to start?

I checked the service manual.. could not find any real help on this one..

Thanks.

Dont know much about the 60's

BUT
Do you have a 12 Volt test light?
I would start at the fuse panel.. make sure that the fuses all have power & are good... Next I would fine the connector where the 12 volts goes to the motor.. see if you have power there.. if YES.. make sure the ground on the motor frame is not corroded. I have no idea if its a 2 or 3 speed setup for fan speed ( there is a resistor to limit current to the motor in the heater box )

If that is OPEN you might not get power to the fan....

and

Pull the fan motor out & clip lead it to an external 12 volts supply..

Some starting thought's

The '58-'62 heater blowers are famous for not running due to lack of a decent ground. The motor is grounded (believe it or not) through the outer sheath of the temp cable, back to a screw on the rear of the center console trim plate. Run a separate ground wire from one of the blower motor flange attaching screws to the metal framework above the pass. side kickpad.
