DIC chimes

Does anyone know how to lower or turn off the volume of the chimes that sound when a warning flashes on the DIC?

As far as I know all you can do is make it louder. In your owners manual there is a procedure. With assessory power on, turn off radio and then depress preset button 6 and hold it down until you get a bling back. The factory default loudness is "standard" loudness. The above procedure gives you the "loud" setting. By repeating the procedure again you can put it back on standard.
