This is a stupid question but I had to ask. Are you suppose to hear a beep when you press any one of the DIC buttons (fuel, gagues, trip, etc)? I only hear a beep when I press the reset buttton to reset something. It seems like I use to hear a beep any time I pressed any button. Somebody let me know what theirs does.

The next time I take the beast out for a drive I will play with my DIC (Driver Information Center) and let you know what I hear. :beer

When I play with my DIC I only get the beep when hitting the "Reset" button to actually reset something.

Mine beeps only on Reset... :cool

Player,
You should only hear a 'beep' when you reset something, or change a program protocol (such as whether the doors lock automatically when you shift from park- automatic- or reach a speed above 10 MPH- manual.) Otherwise, scrolling through commands and functions should not produce a 'beep.'

So, what do you play? Or would that be a question better suited for "the Edge?" :L

Speaking of playing, we need to get BV to stop playing with his DIC while he's driving. It's unseemly, and in some states, could probably get him arrested.
;LOL

Actually, I can't agree with you more here. It is dangerous to drive and play with your DIC (Driver Information Center) at the same time. Your eyes should be on the road at the same time. You could easily get into an accident and hurt innocent lives.

Some people hang out in attics and don't drive. It is much safer!!!!!! :L

I spent a few minutes

playing with my DIC (driver information center) and have determined that the only beep that occurs is when I press the reset button.

Hope this helps!
