Did 96 get the Mobil1 Emblem on Hood?

I've seen several 1996s pictured now that do not have the color Mobil1 on the front of the underside of the hood. Did they stop using the Mobil1 emblem for 96 or sometime during 1996? These have the Mobil1 filler cap on the valve cover.
