just a note. It's kinda hard to bump up the performance significanly w/o getting into the chip. You just have to work with someonewho knows these cars and the ECMs.

The fun never goes away

I know what you mean about the smile lasting all day. When I am not feeling to good (I have had 4 heart surgerys and various health issues) I can go out to the garage and touch my vette and it gives me a reason to keep going. When I wonder why I keep trying so hard to be active I take a drive in the vette and it does me more good than the 15 plus medications I take. I have had some people get a little upset with my handicap license plate on the vette and tell me vetts should not park in handicap. That also gives me a smile because they don't understand just because you have some health problems you don't have to sit in a rocking chair and wait to die. I also have a BMW motorcycle with a handicap plate on it. Oh the looks I get with that are priceless. Even though I have riden motorcycles for over 50 years I would give the bike up before the vette.

I used to just go sit in my dad's Vette in the garage for hours when I was young and imagine driving. It was quite therapudic. Dad and I went on many trips around the US with it. So I know exactly what you mean. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get her back and gliding down the road soon.
