Go into General discussion and page MadMic. He lives in the Glenn Burnie area and has a lot of parts laying around. He might be able to help you :w

An extra dash is one thing Mic doesn't have; he's got some oddities with his as well (sometimes the fuel rate doesn't work, sometimes a light or two is out).

thanks guys!
i decided to send it to gene taber to see if he can find whats wrong with it. last time it saw the light of day was 1987 by the united radio sticker on top. i took it all apart, tested the grounds, didn't smell any burnt or fishy smells, changed the blubs to 194's put her back in and still black? had enough tring to figure this one out. its the last of a few things i had to fix before i get my MD inspection so i can get plates and reg.

just got off the phone with Gene Taber. and he said it is with out power, but hasn't dug in yet. looks like $192 for repair.

Got my dash serviced last year from Gene...he did excellent work!! Mine had a power short in the generator. He repaired it and had it back in 3 days!! And it works great. That was the only thing wrong with it, and it was $185. Good choice for services on dashes....

got my digital dash back in last night, took her for a ride and i do like it!! Gene

said the curcuit broad that has the bulbs in it was bad and he also put some new diff bulbs in it too, great doing business with and fast!

Must be something about me...I am still waiting for my dash to be returned from him. I gave it to him on May 20th...he returned it and I had to send it back to him because he didn't fix it correctly. I am still waiting...he keeps telling me he is going to send it out. :mad

have you called him about it? he said some times he has no dashes to work on and other times like when mine came he had 5 others at the same time? what was your doing anyway?

This is getting good...I called him today and I asked if he sent mine back yet. He said no. I start getting a little cranky and ask why and why has it taken 5 weeks. His answer was..and I quote..."I can't tell you that" :eyerole ...I continue to press and he tells me he has everything done except the odometer still isn't working. and he can't find the problem. He promised me he would work on it today...we'll see...I will continue now to call him everyday untill the end of the week...If I get no satisfaction I will tell him to send it back and I will call my CC company and tell them to dispute the 200 dollar charge...let him fight with the CC company. :mad
