My 1984 Dash lights dim completely at sunset and lit up as bright as they can at sunrise. Besides sending it for repair, is there something I can do to fix this problem? Is there a light sensor inside the dash that can be replaced? Does any one out there have dash diagrams or know where to find them?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

It's your photocell that's failing. I'll have to look up how to repair. Will get back soon. :CAC

:::Tapping Ken on the sholder::: Looking for this?:::Holding up Kens Digi-Dash repair book...

Anyway...the fix for the photo cell is either send the dash out to be repaired, Try to find a new photo cell to match the one that is in there...Its difficult...Or just solder the two points togther on the board for the photo cell.

That's right! Okay, now we can count on you to answer the digital dash questions, Jon. :L
