Just some thoughts.....
If performance (racing) is an issue, keep the C4.
Just remember, it's only as fast as the next STOP SIGN, and still can't outrun a RADAR.
If not......
Both Vettes are red, 6 years apart, 2 different body styles, but, in five years, which will be worth more? C3 or C4.
Not that you should sell, but the C3 price will be on the upswing, the C4, will decline some.
How many C4's vs. C3's do you see?
Body Styles: C4's NICE but somewhat generic, C3's: CLASSIC
It's not often that most Vette drivers have a chance to "go back" in years, after all, you'd make this deal today if it was a C2 or C1 wouldn't you? One step back, can lead you to a giant step forward.
Just think, for the difference of just $3000.00, your that much closer to a true antique classic automobile.
In closing, I also wonder, if C4's will ever be considered classic,
most cars in that late 80 - early 90's all seem to blend together, and I'm not just talking Vettes.
NO HARD FEELINGS TO ANYBODY WITH A C4, this is just my humble opinion.
Good Luck
