Dipstick shows oil low even after proper fill quantity.

As usual with filter change, put 4.3 liters (5 US quarts) as per the owner's manual.

I am not sure what your manual calls for, but by my references, 5 Qts are 4.73l, and 4.3l are 4.54Qts. So, if you are pouring in 4.3l, and your manual calls for 5Qts, you would be about a half Qt low. That may explain your oil level being low--

Chevro, my manual calls for 4.3 liters which is about 5 "US quarts". 5 "imperial" quarts which is the measurement we use in Canada would be about 4.73 liters as you stated. It makes me wonder if it should read 4.7 liters in the Canadian manual and not 4.3. However, I think the US manuals say fill with 5 quarts(US) so the 4.3 would be correct in that case. I am travelling through Asia right now on business, so my mind is a little foggy and my manuals are not with me.....
