Has anyone had any luck in removing fine scratches on the black displays of the radio and climate control displays? I have a 2000 and both have very fine scratches. Any help or suggestions would be helpful.:upthumbs

Fine Scratches

You should try to find a fine scratch remover used for model cars. I use this very often and it does a wonderful job. You could also try going to an autoglass place and seeing if they have any fine scratch removers. One of these should do the trick for you.

I don't suggest anything abrasive on that plastic. Meguiar's has an excellent plastic care system.

I'd stay away from the wipe and use MicroFiber Towels (tested first on an AOL cd.

It is called NOVUS.
It's a 3 stage liquid polishing system.
I have used it on my trucks smoked headlight covers and motorcycle face shiels with great results.

You can also buy the individual bottles.

I would definitely recommend the Novus. I've used it to take scratches out of my turntable cover with excellent results. It's great stuff. (For you young pups, turntables are what we used to use to play our records!) ;)

Well of course I do. And you should see me in my white leisure suit, strutting around to Bee Gees music - Stayin' alive, Stayin' alive! :)
