DOES a 95 lt5 fit a 90 zr1 ?

Hey

Does enybody know if a lt5 engine from 94/95 will fit
in a 90 zr1 car ? without any problems ?

Will the headers fit ?
Will the gearbox ( 90 ) fit a 1995 engine ?
Does the ecm (90) run on a 95 engine ?
Is the engine mount the same ?
ect.ect.

ANY HELP WELCOM....

The engine will fit. Any LT5 will go into any ZR-1. The ECM I don't know about.

You can stick any LT5 you want into your 90 all you will have to change would be the ECM, Now the later engines were the same on the outside everythignthat was different about them was totaly internal, to build up HP and strength, Now the 92 and later cars did have the traction control servo hooked up the the throttle body so that may have to be taken out of the CPU with a special chip but im not for sure on what controlled that I think that was a different computer so with that said,
the engine will bolt into your car No problem the trany will bolt up to the motor no problem and you will be sailing just fine!


BTW I still have the cylinder heads you wanted, I emailed you bakc about them, I parted out my whole motor!
