:DI live out in the sticks . little town of 2500. plenty of room to clean her out . go 50miles towards death valley to paniment valley 100ft below sea level . we get there early am and do some top end runs as its got a 4 mile straight . it so far out in nowhere land that you hardly see a car and never see a chp. but we know them all anyway .there are some bennies to small town life.if i dont drive her much the wife says i get cranky so i drive and come what may . very cool cars

I've been out in your area several times. It makes me jealous, great area to own a fast car.

That's the ONE thing I like most about small towns--the incredible roads.

Here are some pictures I took starting about half a mile outside a small town in the panhandle of Texas. (These are in order, sorry that they're blurry. The straight away in picture 5 was amazing, about 4 miles long. I could see something fast being able to make a topspeed run. :Steer)

I just got back from a scouting run on a route that myself and some friends will be taking in our cars in a few weeks. Sure to be an amazing rally, I wanted to make sure the roads were not washed out or broken down from the salt/ice/snow of the season :eek

I drove the Vic, as it still isn't exactly Callaway Corvette season just yet :w

...I'll have to remember to bring my camera when I go :lou
