Does Pre Cut Carpet include Door Panel Carpet?

Yes it includes the carpet and the vinyl that wraps around the bottom of the door panel.I usually replace the door panels at the same time anyway but when doing that sometimes there is a chance that the carpet from the new door panel will be a shade off from the carpet.

Do you all think I should pay like the $800 out for everything new, Door panel, leather seat covers? The door panel and seats need to be repainted but other then that they are in great condtion. I hear its like almost impossible to get paint to stick.

The paint/vinyl dye sticks well if prepped right but will wear off the drivers side seat bolster after about a year of continuous use.

I think I will just go ahead and get the precut set then worry about the rest later, try to paint it. I have nothing to lose.

I just spoke with Mid America about this the other day as I'm in the process of re-carpeting as well. The "set" includes everything that is carpet, including the seats and door panels. Best bet is to call the supplier and ask them before you order.

I'd be curious where you end up buying it and what you paid? thanks.

Paul.

I just finnished recarpeting my 81 yesterday... My set did not include door panel carpet. The carpet on the door panels is not removeable, it's sewn into the panel itself... It did come with everything else, including the seat backs... I wasn't happy with the way the seat backs looked, the cuts were not really following the origional seat indent. I took my seat backs to a local auto upholstery place and had them put a binding arounf the seat back carpet that matched my seats. It looks much better that way... My carpet set came from a local vette supply, but they get the same stock as Corvette America does. The carpet itself is produced by Auto custom carpets inc...

My friends dad who is doing this for me said he could re carpet the door panels. Do you think it would look bad with silver carpet on the doors and black carpet inside?
