Since I am now waiting for the new motor, I have decided to try and track down the car back to it dealership. I feel like Columbo. I have managed to track it down all the way to 1973. Getting each title from every state to have a complete audit trail of this car. I got a name of an owner, Ricky Edward Webster, who once lived in Lawton OK, purchased the car from Murphy Auto Sales in Wichita Falls, TX., and moved to North Carolian, place called MARSHVILLE on Route 3 in 1974. At this point I am waiting for More Information about the car, I think it was sold to a person in Tennessee. Also will have to go to Texas to see if I can trace it back further. One thing about this car its been in the SOUTH for the entire life.
I really think this Ricky Edward Webster was in the Air Force, as that seems to be a common link between all these states.
If anybody has any info about above PLEASE let me know, I will continue to let you know about my investigation. I have looked under ANYWHO.COM and called several Websters with no real luck.
So slowly but surely I will be finishing this job, but in the mean time its been driving me
