why would motor flush make new problems? lots of people say motor flush and then a new oil change.

Using solvents will loosen up all the grit and grime that has deposited itself to inside of all the internal services of the engine for years.
Don't really want that stuff flowing thru the engine with the oil.

The same is true with injector cleaners, they can loosen up stuff in the whole fuel delivery system and clog up the injector screens.

Some things are better off left where they are.

so i guess...how do you go about cleaning something?

I dunno.....I dont' wanna make things worst...but at the same time....really hate not doing anything....I can't really adjust the lifter....the sounds coming from the rear portion of the engine...and in case none of you are familiar with the V6 of a Sunbird....its worst then the LS6 of the Z06.....you can't even see the valve cover back there.....I was told that an automotive tech needs to elevate the engine in order to get at it.....this what happens when you have to cram a sideways V6 into a frontwheel drive little car.....

so....Iam in pondering still on what to do....hmmmmm
