Door ajar light

Hello Everyone

When I shut the doors the interior lights go out but the door ajar light always stays on. What could be the problem?

You must have a bad ground on one of your door switches. the door ajar switch I believe is the one on the body, to the rear of the door opening.

thanks, it's the one on the drivers side door. it's stripped. so it moves around. so i have to find a way to put ne threads in it.
