Door locks

Today I have the door panels off to replace the weather stripping and noticed that the door locks have a solenoid but the only thing I got when I bought the car was just keys.
I thought it odd that the `88 Vette would not come with a key fob door lock. Am I missing something here? Not trying to sound too dumb,,

Yeah, Thanks, Know that I have power locks. Was just wondering if it came with a remote lock. found out from the local Vette guy that it did not. Aftermarket I guess is the way to go.

93 was the first year for factory keyless entry.
This model works fine on my 90.
