Clean your key pellet and the contacts just inside of the Column Lock cylinder,Your VATS is not getting a good connection!!:upthumbs

Junkie, wow! your a tar heel transplant like me! bread and born in Fayettville, looks like ya have a vette collection two die for!Whats next on your shopping list?Something custom from the west coast?Cleaned the keys as you said, still only rotates a 1/4 inch or so past acc.Think I have a vat system problem? The spark plug wire was shorted out to the frame and I had to replace the ignition mod.to get her running, could this have screwed the vat also? I did drive it after the tuneup, seemed fine. Im an industrial maint. elct./mech up here so I thought I might redo all the batt. cons. etc I have no idea how to clean the switch contact points as you sujested.Thank you for taking the time to give me some hope on this, the summer is slipping away and Im still vetteless, grrrrr,tx agian,Doug.aka,captbane.
