We just ordered a set of cross drilled/slotted rotors for my Grand Sport...I hope we like them as much as we do the ones on the '02! The price can't be beat! I have yet to see a C4 with these rotors, much less a Grand Sport...but then I'm becoming known as a Grand Sport rebel...chrome wheels and now the rotors!:D What can I say?;)

i put them on my CE last summer, and i love the look, calipers are next

how much$$ ?
We ordered them from Sport Brakes in Dallas. The price on the set of 4 for the '02 was $249 plus $30 shipping. The set of 4 for the GS was $269, no shipping. Yes, I'm talking about 4 rotors! They look great and we've had no problems at all with the '02 so I can only presume the same will hold for the GS!

I don't have the phone number for Sport Brakes, but check their site at www.sportbrakes.com. The site needs updating but call them..they're very helpful. We've been happy with everything.

I've had the Baer Eradispeed cross drilled/slotted rotors on my Callaway SuperNatural GRAND SPORT since May, 2001. In fact I have a letter from Baer documenting that my C4 was the 1st C4 to have been fitted with them.

Thanks:) that is a good deal!

Wow, $250 for drilled/slotted rotors is a great deal. Looks like I'll have to pick a set up for myself later this summer.

Pictures - Cross Drilled/Slotted Rotors . . .

Someone please post some pics of their Corvette with these on . . .

Thanks . . . . . .

I emailed sportbrakes and asked if they have the slotted and cross-drilled rotors for the 'standard' or small 12" brakes and they said yes. $249 for the set.

I've been looking for rotors like this without having to 'upgrade' to the big brakes. Maybe I don't have to after all.

I'd like to see some pictures also.

Here's a picture of the Sport Brakes rotor on Alan's '02 convertible.

Although these rotors may look very nice and sharp....be aware that cross-drilling can be very damaging to rotors. If you want nice looks and cool styling then they will fill the bill, but if you are like me and looking for the best rotor for severe braking and course racing (even a little street racing :D )these may not be a good choice. The Eradispeed are very good rotors by design and they are cross drilled, but I do not know enough about the manufacturing of these rotors to say that...just issuing a word of warning. Drilled rotors tend to crack easily if not manufactured properly. The key to good braking is MAXIMUM pad contact with the rotor. Drilling and slotting tends to take some of this away.....just a heads up. :beer

I remember we had a member here who wanted to drill his own rotors! ;)
