I'm looking for a driveshaft safety loop for my '69 4 speed. I looked at the ones Summit has on their web site and they all appear to want to bolt to the cross member, which isn't ideal - it's too far back from the yoke.

Is there a better safety loop available out there or will I have to fabricate one?

Many Thanks!

I wish I could help you. I went through the same thing with my '87 but that was easy because of the torque arm. However, I have the same problem as you with trying to figure out how to mount half-shaft loops.

Try DragVette; they have the loops for the C3s. :upthumbs

Yeah, ideally it would mount to the tail housing of the Muncie somehow. I may just buy a pre-fab universal loop from Summit and ask my buddy Dave to fabricate a mount that will work.

Regarding the Dragvette half shaft loops:

Tnx!
