Driver side door collecting water

After a rain, water collects in the driver side door of my 2007 vert. When you open the door a lot of water drizzles out on the driveway. It sure doesn't seem right. Is there a drainage tube plugged or something else missing? I haven't pulled the door panel yet. Any suggestions other than park it in the garage Many thanks....
