Driver's side seat memory problems

Has anyone had intermittent failures with driver seat memory? When I put the key in the ignition, sometimes the seat will go to
its' memory postion, but most of the time it won't. I just push
the memory setting, and the seat moves to it's correct position.
I'm wondering if there is a tech bulletin out on it. My car is a
2000 coupe. Thanks:cool

i've noticed similar situations. however, i haven't done any research on the issue. it's intermittant.

Question - when it does not move the seat, did you use the key fob to unlock the door before getting in?

To activate the memory seat position, you must tell the car that you are about to put the key in the ignition by pressing the unlock button on the fob - even if the door is already unlocked.

If the car is already unlocked and you put the key in the ignition, it doesn't know what to do so it does nothing.
