Heading down Pass Rd in Gulfport, MS today.
Spotted a white c3 vert on the side of the road with the familiar orange lettered sign in the windshield. I know little of nothing about this series.

1972, automatic, ac, soft and hard tops.
White. Black interior had been redone, but not completely. seats seemed to have been redone and maybe a few panels.

new tires, new exhaust, harley carb?, and a few other things.

Was funny. A few misc. switches under the dash that did nothing from what I could tell. Have read about you guys finding these on older vettes. Guess it was a trend in the 70s to fabricate your own.

headlights were sluggish in raising as was the wiper blade cover. Vaccum lines I assume.

Car was fairly clean and fun to drive.

What prompted me to test drive it, was the huge dollar sign and $5, 500 obo written behind it.

I nearly cut a check right then and there.

Noticed an online printout re: the value of the car. Mint 30k$, as is 13k$.
Then I RE-Read the for sale sign.. that extra line in the Dollar sign $ was a ONE(1).

price: 15,500$

oh well, Thought I had found the 2nd deal of the century. Instead I had a fun test drive in a 72 vert!
