How do you find muffler shops willing to alter the configuration of an exhaust system. I have been told that it is a violation of federal law and the muffler shop would be subject to a $10K fine. Is this not true???

I REALLY want to install true duals on my '76 but can't find someone to do it professionally.

Not sure in your state but in Oklahoma I just went to the local performance muffler shop and it was no problem. New pipes from the manifold back to new Flowmaster mufflers, Total cost $230.00, 21/4 inch pipe with chrome tips.

I installed the MAD system on my '81 and I found it fitted extremly well with no problems what so ever. I think it is a great system.
