I agree with EVO. The track is the only real way to measure how the mods are working. The thing is sometimes you have to be moving for some of them to help you out i.e. ram air systems.
The best way is to run your car at the track and get a feel for it first. And I mean practice practice practice, I am serious. Once you learn how to REALLY drive your car then start modding up and you'll see the difference the mods make. What I just said isn't personally directed towards you. That comes from watching F-bods with LS1 engines running 14.5-14.8 at the local drag strip. Now I am at a different altitude than you and conditions vary from place to place. So in fair comparison I have a friend who just bought a WS6 T/A and he was running consistant and I do mean consistant 14.00 sec 1/4's and was trapping 107-108mph. That was with his girl in the car. w/o her he cuts 13.7-13.8 and his only mod is a lid. Thats compared to the other guys with the same car that same night, but the difference was they didn't know how to run the car. A lid doesnt drop your ET by .7 secs. Thats a combination of skill and pushing the car to its limits.
What I am getting at is with those little mods you'll see a big difference in you E/T's but you'll have to know how to get it down the track as fast as possible first because if you don't know you'll never really see the difference other than seat of your pants feeling.
I think a stock hard top M6 C5 should run really close to 13'sec and i am talking border line. I believe a stock C5 coupe has the same power/torque as an f-bod but you have (i think) a 200lb advantage over them. That weight is approx .2 in the 1/4. With your mods you should be able to cut high 12's. And don't look at just peak numbers, pay attention to how the mods helped over the whole power/torque band. Thats whats being put to the ground at a given rpm.
