Hi all
Just rebuilt my E4ME, mainly because it was sitting on my car without running for about 10 years.
I started it this weekend and the choke worked fine, but when it opened it would not idle, I slowly adjusted the idle air bleed valve and to my surprise, the engine began to idle as smooth as can be.
My question -- I know that should be adjusted with a dwell meter, How is the meter connected to the carb. Is there a connector that can be purchased to allow the dwell meter to be attached? Do you all make your own, if so where do you get the parts?

There should be a green connector at the right front of the carb (near the airpomp somewhere).

Most dwell meters already have crocodile connectors on them so you simply connect the + to the green wire and after that the - to engine ground (I always put it on the AIR system on top of the exhaust manifold).
Good luck!

Greetings Peter

I have always wondered what that connector was for:ugh!!!! Thanks -- I will let you know how it goes
