Edelbrock Performer Carb

Does anyone have the Edelbrock Performer Carb part #1901, the Qjet replacement? What are the opinions on this carb?

I have the #1903; which is pretty much the same thing. I found it no different than the original QJet it replaced--which is just how I wanted it.

How much tuning, adjusting did you have to do out of the box? Did you have to change jets or rods?

I didn't have to adjust a thing; she ran perfect with their factory settings. It's been almost 2 years since I installed it.

BTW, the motor is a fresh and frisky 355--not the original L-48.
