An interesting Blog entry by Motor Trend regarding the C6 seats and the age of Corvette owners. What are your thoughts on this?

Compared to the Recaro seats in my Cadillac CTS V, the C6 seats are not good. While I'm not unhappy with them, they could be better. Too bad the Caddy seats will not fit the C6.

As for age of Corvette owners, just take a look at most Corvette clubs. We're all "Q-tips" or bald. There are younger owners out there but they aren't in the local clubs (?). When you look at the price of a new Vette, (even with the cheap seats) you start to understand.

I say take it from where it comes...Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Road & Track, all Euro Trash mags from my perspective. I am 58 and I bought my first new vette, a 1980 when I was 26. The seats in my 2011 Z06/Z07, which by the way in a Sept of 2011 Laguna test kicked the crap out of all of the cars with "better" seats, are just fine! I thought in racing it mattered who finished first...not who had the nicest seats...nuff said!
