EGR Vacuum Control Switch

I am installing an edelbrock 2101 intake manifold. I got rid of the AIR smog equipment and the EGR.

Do I need the purple top EGR vacuum control switch anymore?

Brian,

Look at your smog label. If it isn't used for the purging of the evaporative cannister as well, then I would say that it does not need to be connected. You'll just have to find the correct plug.
