I have an 84 with a ribbon style electric window set up. At the brushes end of the motor there is a cicuit breaker. The breaker has broken and I have soldered across the circuit to bridge the gap. My concern now is what size circuit breaker or in line fuse do I fit externally to compensate. I am not mechanical but concluded that the circuit breaker is designed to trip if the motor overloads when raising the window. Please tell me if this is correct. I live in Australia and parts are a little hard to find, Also it is a costly exercise converting them to right hand drive.... but that is another issue
