anybody ever seen a C1 in electron blue?

Obviously its not "period correct", but what do you think it would look like.

I've got chrome TTD's and mostly original looking other than that. Im about to paint and cant get a rich blue out of my head.

I think it would look great. I painted my 92 C4 Electron blue. Even if the color is not period correct I think you should paint the car the color that will make you happy. After all you are the one who will be driving it. If you plan on keeping it and not trying to sell it, paint it the color you like.

It's yours...

...paint it what color you want. I think EB would look fabulous!
Must post pics when you are done for proper admiration...

Oh I have no problem painting it whatever color I want, I just cant figure out what color I want...

So far we have tested 10 blues and 3 silvers. The current leader is a silverish blue that started out as Lyndale blue from 67 but was tweaked to remove the greenish tint.

I really like the color I have selected for now but its so different from where I started and I really like the stronger blues. Just cant decide.

Check out some of the colors

Just checked out the site, colour looks great.

My choice would've been the darker of the final two, but hey it's your drive and therefore your choice. Don't forget the pictures when it's back from the paint shop.

BTW I agree with your comments on the wheels.

I plan on building a 61 or a 62 with a tube frame and my plans were to use electron blue whith white diamond coves(white diamond is the color you see on esculades) My brother in law just purchased a new chevy pick up and its color is called arrival blue that also is a nice color.

Good Luck with your color choice

i painted my c3 in electron blue, the key to bring out the color is what you paint under the electronblue first.Since its a transparent color ,i used a light blue metallic first then the electronblue, silver would be nice also.i even did the motor in electronblue.Good luck in your choice.
