Wow, this is soooo nice to be in with people who chose the coolest Vette made :beer. I've already registered my '81 and it's nice to see people that have the same two tone I have.

Great picture, Mike! I see you've shrunk it for your avatar too but the full sized picture is sweet!

I bet my Vette's flying friend can beat your Vette's flying friend! ;LOL
Nice two-tone. All you have to do is repaint the chopper to match. :L

I just remembered this photo from a couple of years ago... I'm not sure where it fits in... somewhere between them :D

You're in some fast company there, on both sides of the tracks. :beer

:ohnoes I agree. I've got a friend at work that works on the Air Force base near by. He's going to try this next year to get me on the base to take a picture of my '81 next to an F-16 fighter :cool. And I'm also hoping to get a picture of it next to a P-51 Mustang.

Nice to see another "twin " to my 81,also in great condition.

keep in mind that no exact figure is on file, but talking to some senior and retired BG plant employees, at Carlisle this year, no more then 800 or so were produced in this color combination, and only in 81.

Thanks for the info on the number made of this color :cool. I did know it was the first color combination to roll off the production line in Bowling Green, but the black book never said how many of this color was produced ;squint:. My wife and I fell in love with this combination the first time we saw it :beer. Now the question is....how many of this color combination still exsist? :confused

I agree,it would be nice to know how many beige over dark bronze 81 vettes are still around, and how many have the qriginal paint.
