After having a tooth or two (under the EB handle) fail rather early in my ownership experience, I ALWAYS hold the button when I set and release the EB with the handle. I neither just pop the button and let things fly, on release, nor just pull the handle up, which drags the ratchet mechanism, when setting the brake.lbitp37 said:Try pulling up 1 notch, while pressing button.
In my case, a return spring was broken and the handle wasn't getting pulled close enough to the switch to turn off the light. You may have to simply bend the switch mount so that the handle contacts the switch when the break is released.callawaycorvette said:I have the problem with my handbrake the signal light in the control center won't go out
I tried several times and hear the brakes grab and loosen but the light stays.
