Engine compartment clean-up

Getting ready for the "Cruisefest" and tryin' to figure out what everybody uses to wipe down the intake, valve covers, and other surfaces under the hood. I figure armor all will cause more problems than it helps, the way dust will collect on it.. Looking forward to the weekend in BG!!!
 
i use good old spray silicone. spray it on, after vehicle evaporates (or before)...wipe to "even" out. makes black plastic look new...no residue left.

I agree - silicon works very well.

Try this

If its real greasy and dirty,try Simple Green.I squirt it on and then hose it off.It really does a good job and it only takes about 5 minutes.
