hello all,

i have gotten alot of help in the past and i would just like to thank all
of you for that and now i got a new problem.i want to bump up the hp
on the my baby. i was reading an article bout 1.6 rocker swaps on the
l98 i was wondering if anyone here has done that and was all need to
complete this swap. it doesnt seem like that hard of a job just want to
make sure i do all the steps correctly like do i need diffrent pushrods
are the stock rockers self aligning or not and do i have to have the
prom redone.oh yeah i plan on using mag roller tips or full roller pro forms
if i take out the dippers. also would like to swap out the throttle body w/
a 52 mm bbk as well will this unit bolt up with no problems like the linkage.

thanks all for your help it is greatly appreciated.

chris

I cant speak about the L98, but on the LT1 you need to get taller Valve covers.

well, got the bbk throttle body on and also added a bbk adj. fuel pressure
regulator. gonna wait till winter to play with the rockers.have to do the
intake and valve cover gaskets so it will be a perfect time to do the
rocker then.

chris

You dont have to get taller covers, but the drip tabs need to be filed down for clearance.

Get full rollers if you want the power gains.
