Hi folks. I haven't posted here in a long time, but I have a question.
I picked up an 89 Formula 350 TPI w/WS6 pkg.
It has an L98 in it now as well as the THM700r4 and Borg Warner 9-bolt rear with 3.27 r&p.
This is virtually the identical engine the vettes of that era had. The difference being vette got the alum heads and more freely flowing stock exhaust manifolds.
Question: Will the stock 89 vette exhaust manifolds fit into my 89 Formula? I'd really like the better flow and want to retain the stock appearance (or I just go headers). Thanks for any replies.

Nope, they might bolt up but the way they collect, you wont be able to get em to fit.

I'm honestly not sure, but the manifolds I would guess are going to be different as the F-bodies have different steering setups than we do. <shrugs>

The other thing is that the corvette has an EGR outlet on the manifolds and the F-bodies run EGR internally in the heads, you would have to manufacture a blockoff for that.

i'de just go headers if you are going to tear into the exhaust. Get em coated too.
