Ok, So I have a 1990 Corvette I have so far 85% of the bolt-ons that I want on it except..

EXHAUST MANIFOLD!;help

I ordered a set of Heldman Headers off Summit, got the bolts, coupling and gaskets essentially I'm good to go right?! WRONG!

I noticed MY stock exhaust has these Air injection rods that go directly into the middle 2 exhaust pipes. Should I replace it with the Heldman Headers I have? Or will this be a big mistake in the long run? ie: performance loss?

I don't want to jeopardize in losing any horsepower.

Air injection is for pollution control , not performance.
Most delete everything including the AIR pump for a cleaner look .If you have to keep AIR system for inspection , headers are available with them on

Is there a pully that controls this function? Or can I just un-bolt the entire system and call it a day?
