I've been told that the retangular tail pipes on my 93 restrict exhaust flow. Does anyone know this to be true? Thanks in advance!

I think you are referring to the exhaust tips, right? Can't help but wonder who told you that; maybe they've inhaled too many exhaust fumes.

Seriously, I have never heard of such a concern with the rectangular tips. It's hard to imagine someone really believing that.

If anyone disagrees, I'd like to hear why....

They don't restrict flow, but they do change the sound of the exhaust.... unfortunately, sound waves aren't square
