Extended Warranty?

Fellow Vettesters,

Need some advice on buying an extended warranty. I would like to get something that give me good coverage for the next two years. I would also like to be able to do it on a payment schedule (instead of paying $1500 - $2500 up front) if possible. Should I go through GM? Please relate your experiences with extended warranties (pitfalls, recommendations, etc.). Thanks for all the help!

I have the warranty from 1Source and they are great. They pay with a corporate credit card so you can take your car to any mechanic and not have to be abused at the dealership.
