Thanks Shop! It was fun playing around with both Callaways today. I'm excited to own it. I think it's time for the Saleen to go bye bye :)

Absolutely, on the 3rd I hope we can all get together before work gets the most of us again

Another great ride in his Yellow toy today...no one wanted to play but many warm comments from the other sports car drivers :upthumbs

How about this 80 degrees and a light breeze....what a perfect day!

Tell us about your first impressions (driving) of the Callaway SuperNatural :upthumbs

Driving the Callaway is a great. Being yellow and a Callaway it gets its share of attention. The timeless body lines lends people to believe that this is a new(r) corvette. I've already had people ask me if that's the new 'Vette.

The SNAT435 is FAST! I like the fact that it has power in every gear. 3rd and 4th gear having the greatest range. I've managaged to take it up to 130Mph and she's rock steady. The J55 brakes are a great addition and help bring everything to a stop.

Unlike my Grand National which has way more power, It's a more straight line WOT kind of car, still fun, just in a stop light to stoplight enviorment.

My wife loves the Callaway which is pretty unuasual for my wife to like cars. She's already talking about needing one for her. :)

One thing that I don't like that brings back memories of my '88 'vette is the hard cold starts :( Still can't figure that out.

Happy Holidays

Since buying my Callaway Twin Turbo several years ago, the desire to drive my GNX has dwindled considerably. Though the GNX boost off the line is GREAT, its basically just off the line.

Enjoy it...

Can't wait to see it.

Have a Great New Year!

boostedmaxPSI,

They make heating elements to put in between your seat cover and seat cushion. Do a search on it. I will see if I can find the info if you want. I found them and was going to put them in mine. You get used to heated seats even when it is warm out. They are great for the back.
Congrats on the car.

Love the sound of the center exit exhaust :cool

BoostedMax, do you have the single high polished oval can, or the early twin cans out the middle??

I have the twin cans out the middle and I love the sound it makes. I drove the Saleen today, it looks like I may have a buyer :)

Cool deal - Our SNAT had those on it when originally constructed but was changed out to the new(er) high-polished oval can instead.

It is similar to the one on Mark's car however, it is twin pipes in, instead of the "Y" ahead of the canister :cool

re: the Saleen, good deal - I think you will have made the right decision in the long run - besides, having your car in AUTOMOBILE Magazine has to be a cool item in itself :cool

TonyC.'s red CR1 and Carls Aqua CR1 were both in there as well :upthumbs
