A series of surgical photos will follow soon. Man, this is going to get ugly. :D

Whats the matter with the dolly couldn't you register it? j/k glad to see you are getting progress on the bodywork.

Is that snow in the picture or just rain on the camera lens? :L

Light rain on the windshield of my van.

You should have seen the eyeballs along the streets as we went. :eek :L

(P.S. to Mac....the painter is still working on me to drop the idea of black. :t :gap How about a red like the one below-left? )

Your painter shows uncommon wisdom, after all, All Corvettes Are Red

Sometimes, the old cliches are the best! ;LOL

Thats a cool looking sight going down the road. It looks better than 95 percent of the cars just like it is.
Jeff

Good luck with the body work

Hmm,
Red :D

O.K. I did not know the color was undecided yet.
We all understand yin and yang,

Every fource needs an oposing fource

So My recomendation would be a nice classic metalic silver,Between the oversized Wheels and tires, the exstended fenders,The motor,You need something to ancor the car back to looking classic,

RED TOO WILD
BLACK TOO SINASTER
SILVER-ALWAYS CALM-RICH-CLASSIC-SOOTHING
If the car had primmer brown it would still look out of control with the flares and tires

Good luck and give my idea some thought

Ying and yang.....hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I don't know why, but colour is my stumbling block on this car. Always has been.

I've had no problem deciding to go with large fenders. No problem deciding to go with a larger big block. No problem deciding to install a Richmond 5-speed. No problem deciding to install the completely different Vette Brakes Performance Plus suspension. No problem in deciding to go with 10" wide Rallye wheels.......but damn......the colour choice is driving me crazy.

I started with Silver Pearl, but then someone I knew bought a Goodwood Green 427 coupe and I fell in love with it. After he sold it out of this city, I changed mine to Goodwood Green........but, I'm waaaaaay tired of that now (that was over 33 years ago).

I want to go Tuxedo Black with Rally Red stinger, but lots of folks are warning me that black will drive me crazy with dirt and swirl marks.

Too many red Corvettes out there......started out with silver......all our other vehicles are white.

:confused :crazy :cry :Silly :hb

Colour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were driving every day Black is a diffacult color On a car like this Maintnence of black will not be a problem,Black looks sinaster

As for white I dont car for it I always belive when looking at a white car that it was painted white to hide some sins
A quote from my body shop days

UNDER COATING AND WHITE COVER A MULTITUDE OF SINS

67, the color combo you mentioned above would look slick. Yes, black does show dirt easy.....but it looks killer when clean!! Swirl marks can be removed. Besides, cleaning a Vette is one of the joys of ownership. :D

My .02 cents......you have already picked the correct color combo.

Now to quote Nike.....Just Do It

Nick :w

Heaven,

I like both the black and silver ideas, are you going to paint it a '67 color? I think the non-metallic colors might look best actually, there is going to be alot of shaded areas around the flares.

Tell us when you decide. Good Photochops

Does anyone have any pics of the car that Proteam used to have named Bounty Hunter, that was a Bad looking black car.

Yes, a '67 colour. I've already used two of those in this photo.....why not a third? :D
