Torch Red LT4 Coupe
Well I finally got my first ride in a C4. It was a red 94 auto with the regular axle and base suspension. I new the guy from school and he was more than happy to give me a quick spin. All I can say is holy crap. It was the most awesome experience of my life. I drive a 2000 V6 mustang 5sp which is fairly quick but nothing compared to the this. The guy was taking corners at speeds that would send my car out of control but the vette was perfectly fine. When he finally got on it and it down shifted I was glued to the back of my seat. If I had any doubts about getting one, they are all out the window now. My question is, what are the quarter mile times for a LT1 with the Auto, the Auto with the perf axle, and the 6sp manual

I took a ride in the passenger seat of my car yesterday and all I can say is holy crap too. You get the true acceleration push over there different from driving.

The quarter mile speed is inversely proportionate to the dough spent on the speed parts. Stock +/- 13.5. I think the handling is where it's at on a C4 Vette though. The chassis and suspension ideas were 'borrowed' from the best cars in the world at the time mated with Zora's rear independent '63 model and voila! Almost 1g side acceleration.

Get one. They are screaming deals right now.
