I would like to do something to the inside of my 92 this winter to get ready for the 2006 show season, I'm just short of ideas! Help me out guys (and gals). How about some pictures of your nifty inside upgrades? Help me spend some cash. I promise to post pics when done.

thanks

do you have white interior?

What about replace the console in between the seats with a amall cooler?
Handy for beverages to sip on after you get your showcar award. he he he

What parts of your interior are showing their age? New carpeting on the floor and door panels will enhance any interior. New style floor mats will help.
Ask other Corvette drivers for their opinions.

For some "quick" ideas, go to Mid America Motorworks web pages and click on the "Dream Car Garage" link. There they took that '91 vette and fixed up the interior with a few cool option that I really like.
- "2-tone" seats.
- leather covering on the middle console
- padded leather on the underside of the targa top

Things to look into anyways.

Mid America also offers some colored shift boots. Add a carbon fiber or maybe a wooden dash. Carbon or wood shift knob. Give your interior some contrast if it is all one color. How about one of those Corvette plates that covers the 'Driver Info Center'? Just my .02

Gray and Black, Bright Aqua outside with chrome sawblades. No rips or tears inside, but a little fade on the carpet and mats.

I've got the same interior as you w/ the Med. Quasar Blue Metallic exterior. You got fading carpet and mats---thar ya go!!! Start with logo'ed mats. I had some down time from driving the Vette and here's what I did:
*logo'ed mats
*logo'ed, 2-tone seat covers
*tri-colored, leather steering wheel cover
*2-tone console cushion
*I.D. spec plate
*Info center coverplate
There's a matching color shift boot cover to consider. A blue one to match my exterior would be too conspicuous for my taste--with all that black and grey. I'm not a big fan of the dash and trim kits, although I have seen a blue/grey/black carbon fiber kit that looks pretty good. It gets really HOT where I live, so I've passed on all the stick-on stuff.
Now would be a good time to check all your interior screws too.
:w

I gotta see some pics! Can you post or e-mail? I'd even host them for you so others can see. - Thanks

My '93 was the same color combo as yours... What I always wanted to do was make the interior all grey, and basically eliminate the black. I have always thought the C4 (and C5 until the '03 anniversary came out) interiors have too much black in them. If you have seen any of the callaway C4 interiors you know what I mean. everything is color matched and just looks cleaner.

***dburgjohn-- You get the pixs I emailed to you? Hey, post 'em here if you like. If you do, thanks. :w

***Vettelt193-- I don't mind the black as part of my interior, but you'd think that for the price of any Vette, GM would've color-matched some of the obvious interior items. The cars would look sooooooo much better. But because the C4s have so much black inside, I'm reluctant to add much color. It just looks odd to me.
If dburgjohn post the pixs I emailed him, you'll see the blue and grey Wheelskin cover with the sections I dyed black to match the steering wheel bars. My point being, just the cover in blue and grey didn't seem to fit. And quite frankly, I'm not too happy about the tri-colored look either so I'll probably just end up dying the two blue sections grey. I'm thinking about dying half the shift boot cover grey too.
