Flat tire

I went up to the dealership and had them change the oil for the 1st time at ~1900 miles. The next day I went to put gas in the car and I had a "left front tire low" error message. I checked the left front tire and it was at 34lbs but I added 4lbs anyway hoping the error would clear but it didn't. As I was driving home I now had the following 2 error messages:

"Left front tire low - add air"
"Left rear tire over inflated"

I had things to do so I put the car away hoping these messages would clear, but when I started the car yesterday I had an error message indicating "left front tire flat."
I went to the gas station and checked the pressure and it was still at 38lbs so decided to let the 4lbs out that I added the previous week and I set it back to 34lbs. For the hell of it I checked the right front tire and sure enough the flat was on the right side tire.

Needless to say I was pretty pissed since they must have put the wrong caps/sensors on the wrong tires when they checked the air pressure during the oil change. The good news is the "left rear over inflated" error message is gone but I suspect those (rear) caps were swapped as well.

I called the dealership and they asked me to bring it in today so I'll stop by on my way to the Spring Fling event in Merrimack.

There should be a procedure in your owners manual to reset the sensors.

The valve stem caps are not your tire pressure sensors, the actual stem in the wheel is part of the sensor inside the wheel. The front tires were possibly rotated side to side, check the rotation arrows on your tires and see if they are rotating in the correct direction, if they are then someone programmed the right front sensor as the left front. It is always a good idea to set the tire pressures to the recommended settings on the door jamb. Good luck with it.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I brought the car to the dealership and they told me the sensors were on the wheel and that they just needed to be re-calibrated.
There was a screw in the tire which was the cause of the flat. They were able to "patch" the tire from the inside, and I was told there wouldn't be any issues regarding the integrity of the tire. I find that hard to believe but that's what I was told when I asked.

The sensors should not have needed to be recalibrated unless one was replaced or rotated to the wrong axle. I would make sure that all the tires are rotating in the correct direction, there are arrows on the tire sidewalls to confirm that they are.

Patching a tire from the inside of the tire is the correct way to do it, unless it is too close to the sidewall of the tire then a new tire would be needed. I am sure you will be fine with the repair.
